Wizkid, Asake - Turbulence | Music Video of the Week

Wizkid and Asake’s “Turbulence” builds a striking visual world where space itself becomes the central idea. Directed by Edgar Esteves and Arseni Novo, with production by Blank Square Productions and VFX post production by Novo Luma, the video unfolds across a series of abstract, constructed environments that feel deliberately contained.

The sets rely on geometry and repetition. Perspectives shift, scale becomes uncertain, yet the visuals remain controlled, allowing the artists to act as a steady focal point within an unstable space.

What defines the piece is its transitions. Built through VFX and compositing, each shift is designed to feel like continuous camera movement. The lens pushes forward, often through tunnel like structures, creating the illusion of a single, uninterrupted journey rather than a sequence of cuts.

The result is a video that feels continuous, where each space leads naturally into the next without ever breaking the flow, as if it all exists within the same shifting structure.
