Ormella - Godless Man | Music Video of the Week

Ormella’s ‘Godless Man’, directed by Jana Frost, explores betrayal through a surreal, hand-built world of paper installations and shifting environments. Moving through these tactile spaces, the film traces devotion and disillusionment with a quiet, symbolic intensity, where each threshold marks a step deeper into emotional collapse.
Frost’s visual language is built from tangible, handcrafted elements. Paper becomes architecture and atmosphere, its fragility echoing the instability of belief. Rather than relying on digital effects, the film leans into craft, allowing textures, seams, and imperfections to shape the experience and give the world a grounded, almost haunting presence.
Restrained performance and precise camera movement let the environments carry the weight of the narrative. ‘Godless Man’ stands as a compelling example of how a music video can externalise inner turmoil through design, creating a space that feels both intimate and quietly unsettling.
