Bristol’s punk band Mould unleash chaos in "Wheeze", a visceral animated video directed by London-based mixed media director Martyn Thomas.

Inspired by the band’s own artwork, Martyn Thomas builds a darkly surreal world that pulses with urgency and distortion. Drawing from underground zine culture and gritty DIY aesthetics, the video’s warped animation matches the track’s intensity, a barrage of glitchy contortions and relentless momentum.

There’s an unhinged beauty to it all: distorted yet magnetic, anarchic yet tightly composed. Martyn Thomas leans into the discomfort, crafting a visual language that feels as raw and volatile as Mould’s sound.

WHEEZE is a sensory riot, loud, frenzied, and impossible to ignore.
