French music artist Mada Mada delivers a visceral dreamscape in "NonNonNon", a cinematic music video that feels more like a psychological film than a conventional promo. Directed by Alexandre Richard, the piece dives into themes of blindness, memory and identity, crafting a darkly poetic narrative that lingers long after the final frame.⁠

Set in an undefined liminal space, part hospital and part subconscious, "NonNonNon" follows a man recovering from eye surgery who is haunted by distorted reflections and creeping darkness. With echoing footsteps, fractured mirrors and flickering shadows, Richard draws on surrealist traditions to transform internal fear into visual language.⁠

The video raises a haunting question: what might a blind man see in his dreams? That idea unfolds in a crescendo of striking visuals, with a powerful climax where the protagonist’s eyes dissolve into light. This is one of several bold visual effects moments that carry the video into horror and fantasy territory.⁠ Shot with moody precision, the cinematography leans into chiaroscuro lighting. ⁠
