GLUM - Lombard | Music Video of the Week
GLUM’s "Lombard", directed by Slava Kuleshov and Anastasia Batashova, takes the cold routine of an industrial factory and turns it into something far stranger. Machinery and concrete corridors give way to surreal imagery and distorted figures.
At the centre of it all is GLUM’s commanding performance, while the visual metaphors threaded throughout give the imagery another layer of meaning, creating a sense that there is something more unsettling beneath the surface.
By the time the dancers take over the factory floor, the transformation feels complete. The result is a visually ambitious piece that keeps shifting in tone and meaning, giving "Lombard" an identity entirely its own.
