AURORA’s “A Place to Call Home” is an animated music video created for World of Warcraft, directed by Kirill Blumenkrants and produced by Brunch Studio in partnership with Blizzard Entertainment. The video follows a group of adventurers across Azeroth, moving through familiar landscapes, characters and battles from the game.
The video uses richly detailed 2D animation, combining expressive character movement with painterly backgrounds and atmospheric lighting. Its transitions are especially creative, moving fluidly between locations rather than relying on simple cuts.
“A Place to Call Home” stands out for the detail and imagination of its animation. The fluid transitions help connect each part of the journey, while the visual style brings the world of World of Warcraft to life and remains closely connected to the atmosphere of AURORA’s music.
