Au/Ra - E-MOTION | Music Video of the Week
Au/Ra awakens from emotional stasis in “E-MOTION”, a sci fi fantasy music video about numbness, recovery and the return of feeling.
Directed by Andy Mihov, the video places her inside an abandoned biostasis chamber slowly being reclaimed by nature. Flowers and roots creep through cold machinery as the chamber begins to reactivate, blurring the line between technology and organic life.
As Au/Ra emerges, darkness and stillness gradually give way to movement and light. “E-MOTION” visualises recovery as a gradual reactivation, with each shift in light, movement and texture suggesting something slowly coming back online.
