Jia Jia’s “Still Ahead” transforms the search for home into something theatrical, fragile, and quietly profound. Built around hand painted cardboard stage design, the video creates a fairytale like allegorical world where physical sets become emotional terrain, turning a personal journey into a universal meditation on belonging.
Directed by ALX112 and AUTOTUNA, the video understands that visual style works best when it serves emotion. What begins as a search for belonging gradually becomes something more uncertain, as outside forces interrupt and reshape each step forward.
“Still Ahead” succeeds not through excess, but through restraint, using design, movement, and symbolism to capture the uneasy beauty of pressing on when the destination still feels just out of reach.
