Music Video of the Week: Emergency by Abraham French, directed by @aspect_sergio
The video follows two disenfranchised firefighters navigating the bustling streets of Camberwell in response to a dollhouse fire. This fever dream incorporates animal costumes, dynamic landscapes, and a unique perspective achieved through body rigs, culminating in a fiery climax.
Shot during the height of summer, the production embraced spontaneity, capturing the dollhouse fire in a single take without any resets. The decision to shoot at a higher frame rate added a heroic and epic scale to the visuals. The dedication of the cast and crew, working with minimal budget and heavy equipment, shines through in the final product.
