01099 and Ikkimel explore the restless hours of the night with Nachtschicht (which translates to Night Shift), a late night anthem with a strong visual focus.

Directed by Lea Baintner and Laura Russ, who also worked as Director of Photography, the video combines narrative precision with visual experimentation. AI driven overlays, subtle distortions and layered VFX blur the line between reality and dream, intensifying both the tension and the mood of each scene. Far from serving as mere spectacle, these effects add depth and texture, sharpening the video’s surreal qualities.⁠

Direction, performance and production work together to show the different sides of nightlife, from euphoria to exhaustion. The collaboration between 01099 and Ikkimel, with post production by artefakt.mov, shapes a visual story that captures both the energy and atmosphere of late night hours.⁠
